چکیده
Abstract Leptospirosis is an important zoonotic bacterial disease caused by Leptospira spp. Earlier studies from North Khorasan province (Iran) reported the presence of in wild canines and rodents. To date, there no data on seroprevalence leptospirosis among humans this province. This study was performed to determine prevalence human leptospiral infection people with different occupations. The conducted urban rural areas Among serum samples collected 278 subjects, 3 (1.1%) showed positive reaction titer 1:100 microscopic agglutination test (MAT). Positive reactions were detected against interrogans Canicola L. interrogans icterohemorrhagic all these livestock farmers (n = 3/106, 2.7%). current revealed that, though low province, regular monitoring are important.
